How do I get my gift cards?
Gift cards are fulfilled digitally on Locorum. The confirmation email you get after you purchase can be used to redeem your gift card with the vendor. If you didn’t get one, check your junk/spam it’s there!
Some vendors may email you a code after you purchase but if you don’t get one right away, no worries just use the email.
How do I get rewards?
Just create an account, it’s free! Once you have an account, credit can be earned a number of different ways, the easiest being our 2% back on every purchase. You can find and up to date list of different ways to earn credit under the “Rewards” tab at the top of the page.
How do I redeem rewards?
Just sign into your account before shopping and your credit will automatically be applied to your cart. You can also change how much credit you use and see how much credit you have in ‘My Rewards Account’. To change you credit redemption amount, click the green button with your available credit in your account.
Do I have to redeem all my credit at once?
Nope! By default, all your rewards will be applied to your cart, however you can change this my going to “My Rewards Account” and clicking the green button with your balance. On the left side of the My Store Credit page you will see a green button “Redeem for Discount”. Here you can enter the exact amount you want to redeem with purchase and a code will be generated for you to copy/paste at checkout.
How do I invite my friends and earn rewards?
In ‘My Rewards Account’ click the ‘Share your link’ button and select the platform icon you want to share on, you can select the link to copy, email, Facebook or twitter.
Does my order come in one shipment?
That depends! Each vendor fulfills orders on their own, so if you order from more than one business you will receive more than one package.
Can I track my order?
Locorum uses a local courier to get you your packages within 24 hours of them being fulfilled by the vendor, so we don’t have tracking. Once you get the notification that items have been fulfilled you can expect them that afternoon or the next day. The courier will call you when they are dropping them off.
How do you companies qualify to be on Locorum?
Locorum is exclusive to small local businesses. In order to qualify, the company has to be owned by a Canadian entrepreneur, they must be located in Canada and qualify as a small business; meaning they have under 100 employees. When you shop here, you know you’re supporting your friends, neighbours and the small business economy that employs over 70% of Canadians.
Is my order guaranteed for 24-hour delivery?
We don’t guarantee 24-hour delivery. We deliver to you within 24 hours of the brand fulfilling orders. Every small business is different, so although we encourage our brands to fulfill within 1 day of receiving an order (meaning you get it next day) sometimes the hardworking entrepreneurs that make up Locorum are busy wearing other hats. If your order doesn’t fulfill right away, be patient the vendor got it and is working hard to get it out!
Can I ask a vendor about a product?
Absolutely! Feel free to reach out to our customer service with any questions about products on Locorum, we have a direct line to our awesome vendors and will answer you quickly. Just use the form at the top of this page.
What if I want to shop from a local brand that isn’t on Locorum?
We love getting recommendations for businesses to add to our platform! Customers like you are how we’ve met some our coolest vendors. Just drop us a line about which brand you want to see on the store, and we will reach out to get them onboarded. If you’re really keen, reach out to the brand as well and tell them you’d like to shop their products on Locorum!
Why isn’t my rewards credit showing in my cart?
Rewards credit is applied at checkout, so one page past the cart. Make sure you’re signed into your account and then click past your cart to checkout and you can see your credit applied on the right-hand side of the page where your order total is.
How do returns work?
Returns are super easy. Almost all of our products qualify for our 30-day return policy, excluding some vendors like food/drink or products that aren’t suitable to be returned. If it doesn’t qualify this will be stated in the product description. If you need to return something just email us and we’ll send the courier to pick it up, easy as that.
